WOVEN ST MARTHA’S – CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WORKER

Full time, 37.5hrs/week including Sundays / £26,450pa / Including appropriate workplace pension arrangements.

Come and be part of a new chapter at St Martha’s leading the growth and discipleship of our children and families. Building on some great work over the last 3 years, we’d love someone to develop routes to faith and commitment amongst our growing fringe community in both the children and wider families, around our popular midweek after-school family times and toddler group. At Sunday services, we have a young congregation, where children and young people’s numbers are strong and intergenerational worship is embedded, along with groups for children. We need someone to lead in these areas and raise up volunteers for the work to grow across different age ranges.

This role, working in partnership with the leadership team at St Martha’s is seen as vital for the fulfilment of St Martha’s vision to be a beacon of hope and revival in Broxtowe and beyond.

As part of Woven, you will have support from our Woven Kids lead and other Woven kids and families staff, as well as being part of wider Woven family with many opportunities for prayer, encouragement and friendship along the way.

This role has been enabled by generous funding from the national church.

We'd love to hear from 18-25 year olds who are interested in getting stuck in to church life across Woven. The Internship is run by the Younger Leadership College, which is part of the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham.

This is what they say about The Internship:

The vision for the internship is to raise up followers of Jesus who are confident in who God is and who He has made them to be. The internship puts discipleship to Jesus as the number one priority, as we believe everything flows from that. You will be a part of a dynamic cohort of other interns, students and young adults who are committing to the same journey of learning what it means to live everyday with Jesus, become like Him and seek his purposes in our churches and beyond. Exciting, right?!
