Contending for revivalWoven exists to contend for revival in our hearts, our local communities, our city and beyond.
We’re not just here to have a nice time as a church (although we do have a lot of fun too) we’re a family on mission. We’re here to see hearts revived and awakened by God, to see our local communities transformed by His love, to see our City turned upside down by His goodness and for that to spill out beyond our city.
We believe God loves everyone and is inviting everyone to be transformed by him.
If you’re not sure if you’ve met God yourself we’d recommend you come along to one of our services and see for yourself!
HOW DOES WOVEN WORK?
Woven is a church of churches.
Woven is made up of eight local churches which work together as one church. Each local church has it’s own local mission initiatives, services, local leadership team and P.C.C. They aren’t on their own though. All the churches work together as one big church - Woven.
Rich Atkinson is the incumbent of all the local churches and is the leader of Woven. We also have joined up Kids work (Woven Kids), Youth work (Woven Youth), Operations team, and the staff team all work together to contend for revival and see all the local churches flourish.
Woven is governed by a Joint Church Council (J.C.C.) which is made up of elected members from every local church P.C.C.

Our values help us in how we go about pursuing our vision. We want to make sure everything we do is done with the values of:
Fuelled by God - Everything is fuelled by him and is done in His strength and His power
Walking with God - In all we do we about making disciples. Disciples are people who walk with God, who learn to follow him. Everything we do is about making disciples
Sharing God’s way - In all we do we want to talk about Jesus. His way is the best way and we know that the best thing we have to offer people is Jesus.
